I managed to find additional sources of adapted versions of H.P Lovecraft's Dagon. The first one is Dagon animated sequence on kick starter and the second one is a honours project that is based of another Lovecraft story.
[Update 1/27/16] Although the project has been unsuccessful, it does have a unique art style.
